Kid would make a PERFECT 60 old middle class man in the United States...."aint nobody telling me what to do...".

They ought to remove him from the home and toss his arse into foster care....I bet his entitled arse would strap in on the flight back to mama and daddy....

I say my daughter first and middle name and count to 1 and she’s moving. Don’t know what I’ll do if I ever get to 3. This kid get everything it wants and more just to avoid situations like this.

I had one of those from EWR to SFO. Two kids (approx ~7 & ~9 I’d guess) were screaming bloody murder and refusing to sit down and stay buckled. Flight attendant was on phone with captain and we almost had to pull back in the gate and they’d have to de-board.

The little frickers eventually calmed down, but it was a goddamn site.

Here’s the part you may not expect — the dad was wearing a turban, so I think they may have been Sikh. I would have expected the kids parents to run a slightly tighter ship TBH.

Parents failed way before they got on that plane.

You don't put up with that shite ever. So when plane time comes they know you mean business with just a stern look or gesture.

I don't know why alot of society has come to the decision we need to deal with and negotiate with children like reasonable adults. They aren't reasonable adults... they're inexperienced, naive, emotional, little peons that have to be raised into reasonable adults.

You deal with those attitudes and misbehaviors at home ahead of time... that way when in public you don't have to come across as the mean parent that some idiot wants to report.

This kid needs his arse whipped.

Absolutely. Sounds like his parents need their asses whooped too for allowing a child to act this way.

This line really does apply better to parenting than it does to actual terrorists.

It would be a cold day in HELL before I let my 10yo not do what I told him to do. Parents and society these days are weak and scared to discipline their kids.

It would be asswhuppin' city. How the sheer embarrassment of these kind of things doesn't compel any grown adult to immediately quell this kind of bullshite is absolutely beyond me.

That’s because many parents are more worried about being the friend and not the parent.

Absolutely this.

I was watching an American Dad episode the other day where Stan and Steve become best friends and Stan let's him play in the gorilla exhibit, and the dad gorilla basically said it's easy to be a friend, which is why kids have so many of them, but you only get one father which is obviously harder. Never heard anything more true.

The goats and chickens had the decency to follow flight crew instructions and buckle up for takeoff.
