Doesn’t make it racist today that at one particular period it was used as a branding sign. That was not its original intent and nobody thinks of it as that in today’s time. Numbers have also been used as a branding identifier, no? You want to ban numbers too?
It has a very deep history. Meanings behind a symbol/logo can change and evolve IMO. Unless it’s like a swastika, because there is no coming back from what that eventually represented in terror. Nobody associates the fleur de lis with this. In fact people had to dig deep into its long history to even learn about this.
