Fads: JNCO jeans, No Fear t-shirts, Z Cavilrici pants, and gigantic wallet chains.

Less absurd fads: Umbro athletic shorts and t-shirts, Airwalk shoes, and t-shirts of skateboard brands (I.e. Spitfire, Independent, and Birdhouse).

From the 80's. Flash:

Benetton sweaters

>

Skinny ties

>

Super long jackets

But we ended the decade by cementing the timelessness of good ole jeans and a tee shirt.

I was going to throw in Members Only jackets, but I saw guy wearing one the other day.

Everyone, except me, wore the puffy Starter jackets. Oddly enough LSU and Saints jackets were not very popular around here. Also odd, San Jose Sharks were popular.

Not unless there are collegiate underwater welding teams that I’m unaware of.

He is a damn good offensive line through. But he’s only 6’ 245 lbs so he’s not a D1 prospect.

Anyone mentioned Surf Style yet?

Actually, if I could find my old one at my parents house I’d probably wear it.

Miami Hurricanes, Miami Dolphins, Charlotte Hornets, Orlando Magic, Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Michigan Wolverines and Chicago Bulls were the ones to be seen in if you were in Baton Rouge from 1992 to 1996.

Leather braided belts that were way too long so that had to be looped through itself were the GOAT fashion of the early 90's.

I remember getting to that age where I realized that fashion was bullshite. Magazines would give specifics of why a wide necktie is a good look, then the next year the same magazine would give specifics of why a thin tie is a good look and wide ties are ridiculous.

Put on your cargo shorts and New Balance and tell the world to frick off.
