Circa 2024…ANY “abnormal” things in nature is due to climate change!

Calm before the nuclear storm. Fish know what’s up. Kind of like how animals know when a bad storm is about to roll through
Well there is a Geomagnetic Storm tonight.

this sounds like what happens occasionally in Mobile Bay. It's called a Jubilee, when large abnormal amounts of fresh water empties into the salt water of Mobile Bay, the sealife -- fish ,crab , and sometimes shrimp become disoriented and become beached. The residents along the coast ring the bells of a Jubilee and go along the coast to scoop everything up.
It's great fun if you happen to be there at the right time.

Yeah that’s not happening in the Keys

If only someone knew what to do about the large number of fresh fish swimming up on the beach.

That actually doesn’t sound like fun at all.

More than half of the voting in south Florida is done by mail. Florida is mostly snowbirds with a homestead rule. That means if you own a house in two states you most likely vote in Florida. The thing is Florida counts the mail in ballots as they arrive. Some states don’t open mail in ballots until after the polls close. By Election Day in Florida’s precincts as much as 50% of the votes have been counted.

Whirling Disease? Mostly see that in trout/salmonids though
Catfish do the same thing when they get ESC disease. Or there’s no oxygen in the water, toxic algae bloom is likely the cause since it’s affecting several species. Disease is usually targeted to specific species

Isn't that where they released genetically modified mosquitos about 3 yrs ago?

Interesting. There's been an unidentified neurological disease present in imported marine finfish (primarily wrasses) for the aquarium trade for several years now. The symptoms seem to be very similar to what is described here.
