For some odd reason, you are thinking someone picked shrimp out of your jambalaya. But, likely (I hope) they were never in there because, get this, shrimp don’t go in jambalaya.

Get this I’m 70 years old and been living all my life down in South Lafourche
Been eating shrimp jambalaya all my life
Probably cut some of my first teeth on it.

My family wants tacos tonight so I had to dig through the freezer and find a package of 90% ground beef. The 80% and 90% are piled together so I had to get my glasses to read the package.
