Whatever happened to not making eye contact and walking fast
We are animals, this will just trigger a predator to try and attack. Gotta be a bigger predator, look em in the eye and let em know to leave you the frick alone.

Where's the humanity in telling someone you can't be bothered with a question?

Maybe once, or twice. But when I ‘quartered’ up with my right hand behind, and slightly above my waist, they ran off…

Not that extreme, but yes. I usually ask them for a cigarette or change before they can. The surprised look is gold.

Call him a completely incorrect slur, like a dago or a paddy

Guy approaching pretty aggressively: can I ask you a question?

Black dude asked me for a ride at the gas station a few weeks ago. When I said no, he asked me if it was because he was black. I answered yes and he just turned around and walked inside the store.

If he wants to play that game, you should have replied “well at least you’ve accepted it”
They think that accusing us of “racism” is a weapon they can use to bring us to heel. Take the power away from them by not giving a shite when they accuse you.

You would have ran like a little bitch if this happened to you

Normal people would have responded, with a guarded response of "what you got?" (as in "what is your question" or some derivative of that).
He would have asked for money and you just say "I don't have any cash on me. Have a good day"
And if he said what you say he said I would have said "hey you said it, not me".

When I’m approached like that at a gas station, I have a little truck that I use and it works really well. I let them ask whatever it is, I look at them for a second or two and I just say “hang on”. It disarms them because they think they’ve got a sucker so they politely pause and wait for the money. I use that time to get in the car and drive off. They just stand there with a surprised look on their face.

The good part about being 6-1, just under 240 now and ugly as hell- nobody messes with you.
