Jesus it’s only two nights out of 365 nights a year. It’s perfectly fine for you to be inconvenienced with oh no, fireworks that very rarely lasts past 1 AM.

If you cared so much about sleep, then you should’ve planned ahead and rented a cabin in the middle of nowhere.

I sure hope being a bitch arse pussy doesn't rub off on your kids. Mine enjoyed the fireworks and the dog dealt with it.

I can understand that sleep is hard to come by for you but how do you expect everyone else to stop living their life’s and having fun because you are running on little sleep?

You should be telling the sergeant at arms of your HOA.

Heck, it’s your duty.

Do not idly stand by while your neighbors break the law.

I have young kids and a dog. They are all asleep right now as the fireworks go off around us. Two nights a year is no big deal. Shooting them off on Christmas Eve, extremely trashy.

NOPD actually handled it in this neighborhood about 2 hours ago. We live right down the street from the Chief and his wife wasn’t having that shite.

I'd be in favor of outlawing fireworks, tbh.

I did, and she chased me down the street with a Roman candle and three bottle rockets

Tigerdew, my 2 year old finally slept through them this year but I feel your pain 100%. Just know it won’t always be like this. I don’t mind fireworks but the loud bombs make it hell on a baby. And ignore all these idiot durrrrrs that get off on this crap.

People are inconsiderate as frick. Happy new year bro

No one gives a shite about your kid or your neighbor.

Everyone else isn't required to revolve their entire lives around you.

Holy hell. A Jake88 post that didn't invoke politics. Maybe it is a new year after all?

His “pain” is stupid and makes him and you look like a complete vagina.

You’re the one getting pissy over two nights a year of fireworks. You have 363 other nights of quiet next to those.

Not always:

That being said, setting off a string of black cats at midnight in your driveway is pretty fricking trashy.

I’ve got a 2 year old, a pregnant wife, and 2 Puggles sleeping. If one of them gets woken up, so be it. It’s New Years, we’ll be the ones out there shooting fireworks when our boys want to do it

I spent the midnight range watching the monitor for my kids room to see if the fireworks woke him up. I don't like fireworks in my neighborhood, but I'm also not going to bitch about them.

It's one, maybe two nights a year. Well three if this whole Christmas fireworks thing starts to take off. Only heard a couple that night though.

But all is well. My son slept through the whole thing and I'm just sitting back watching Roger Waters The Wall on Starz drinking a glass of whiskey.
