I have an 8 month old that’s been through two major surgeries in his first 8 months of life. Sleep is a major premium in this house. I want to go all Michael Douglas in Falling Down on these douche neighbors around me right now.

They were selling big packs at Costco yesterday, and Albertsons was selling them last year. I don't understand that. BTW. it's sounded like a war zone here since 6 PM or so. This is worse than usual. With midnight fast approaching, I'm skeered.

Injustbdid $75 worth with 4 kids and had a blast. The kids love it and we love seeing our kids outside finally and all enjoying doing something together. That doesnt happen enough these days.
So if staying home and doing something outdoors and enjoyable with the family is trashy, sign me up.

I think I’m going to start a new tradition starting on July 5 (since I’m fresh out of fireworks). I’m going to set off a couple of the mortars off at 6:00 am right after I wake up. I’ll see how all of the assholes around me that like to pop them well after midnight like that.

You could also light a fire and roast marshmallows or any of about a million other things than disrupt everyone within a 4 block radius. It’s trashy and inconsiderate. My neighbor 2 doors down is 92, undergoing chemo and lives alone. NOPD came out about 10 minutes ago and shut the shitheads down across the street finally. It’s one thing to do dumb shite in the privacy of your own home.
