Interesting. But consider that irresponsible use of the smartphone like the one in your hand sends just as many people to ICUs and burn units every day.
Careless people are always gonna be dangerous and at least fireworks are only available to them seasonally. We can’t idiot-proof the world( frick not being trusted or not being allowed to have annual, traditional fun.

Except you have to have a license and be a certain age before you can get behind the wheel. Also, the entire auto industry is heavily regulated. Any dipshit can buy explosives and send their kids out to set them off.
