I didn’t know she lived in Shreveport until she popped up in my Facebook feed. Ukrainian Olympic gold figure skating champion from 1994 chose an odd place to move to in retirement.

I've seen a few videos of her skating recently. She is still very good in her mid-40s. I've been wondering what brought them to Shreveport

Wow. Had no clue she is living in the south…let alone Shreveport. My mom and I were big figure skating fans in the 90s. Met Michelle Kwan at the Centroplex in BR.

She must be in the federal witness protection program, right? Probably has some pretty damning information on some Russian oligarchs. Otherwise, seems like a very odd choice for someone who, presumably, has the means to live (almost) anywhere they want in the US.

If there’s one place that gets snow and ice in Louisiana, it’s Shreveport. Someone sold her a bag of lies if they told her it doesn’t snow there.

Shreveport is world renowned as a retirement location for the wealthy. No shock that Oksana is here as well.

I think she's been there a couple of years. Looks like maybe before that she was in some Vegas ice show. Maybe her husband has a job there. She appears to be in Broadmoor, Highlands, or even off Fairfield/Line somewhere. She's got a video from the tornados as well.

Looking at Wikipedia, she’s had issues with her former coaches and whatnot stealing money from her. Wonder if that’s why she and her manager-husband landed in Shreveport, for a “quiet life.”
