At least I’m not the only one with this problem.
I wish I had the answer.

Try to find something to do at lunch to break up the monotony. Go for a run or workout. If there’s a driving range nearby, go hit a bucket of balls, etc.

Think long and hard about what your passion is. Spend however long it takes trying to monetize that passion. At first it will be supplementary income. Next it will surpass the income you make today. When that happens - you're free.

Find a hobby baw. Go fishing. Start a garden. Learn to play an instrument.

The only one who will get you out of the doldrums is you. If there’s no wind in your sails, break out the oars.

Find something you like to do that involves exercise or physical activity. Fight through the “I’m tired” in the morning before work or evening after and eventually your energy level and sleep habits will improve.

These habits/hobbies/activities tend to have a social component. You’ll meet people with similar interests, open your mind to new interests, etc.

It starts with small goals. Accomplishment is addictive and the big ones will come. You don’t always have to know where you’re going and you’ll stumble along the way, but that’s life.

Find something to work on around the house during the week such as a lawnmower or a car or a garage door or something. Even if you don't know anything about it you will enjoy learning and the feeling of accomplishment when you fix it. Use youtube to learn.

Find a slump buster on bumble.

Travel by yourself. It will force you to learn to approach groups of people to hang out with which will help you learn how to make new friends when you get back home.

Learn something that will help you in your career. Get a certification that will help you move up or move into a new industry that you may find more appealing. If theres another country that youd like to live in start taking language courses

This is why people get married and have a family. Kills your free time and wallet but you at least have a purpose in life other than working for someone else.

Inject booze and women in to your life, then you’ll wish for the mundane again.

"It wasn’t dull though was it?"

I guess the lesson here is to try new things.

I play volleyball 2 nights a week and love it. Although I'm not the best player, I'm not that bad so I'm always subbing for teams I don't know. It's a great way to meet new people and have a good time. After a few seasons, you'll start to know everyone and the place becomes like Cheers.

I also volunteer for Habitat for Humanity which is a great way to meet people and keeps you busy. Look into that.

Sometimes, it's not how your day goes about, but how you go about your day. Your problem is not your cycle. Your problem is the way you look at your cycle. Make the best of it, while slowing changing one thing here or there. Sooner than later, your whole life can change by putting yourself out there a little more.

start by setting a goal with diet and exercise. I went through a pretty rough spell a while back. I was always into working out and keeping my body healthy and then I just hit a wall. Depression set in and I stopped lifting and put on 20lbs. One day I read an article about goal setting and achieving these goals was a very important component to happiness. So I decided to set a goal with something I was familiar with and decided to take action. Now I make it a point to workout and eat healthier all because it is apart of my goals. I write down what I want to accomplish and block out the BS. Ever since then I've learned to set new goals and work toward them. It is important to set goals that are realistic. You want to be challenged but not easily discouraged. If you want to eat healthy start my knocking out certain things in your diet and go from there. If you want to start lifting, start by doing 3 times a week for maybe 30 minutes and then progress. Hope this helps.
