Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for breaking the monotony? I'm too young to be stuck in this boring cycle I'm currently in.

I typically always wake up feeling tired and lethargic. I go to a job that I don't particularly enjoy and work for a boss that is what I don't particularly aspire to be.

I come home, even more tired, and, if I can muster up any energy, go for a short walk or a 2-mile jog (although that's rare). I then make dinner and typically fall asleep on the couch while watching The Office or something thoughtless. I usually wake up around 12:30 and stumble into bed, only to wakeup at 6 AM, and repeat...

Anything, tips, dos and don ts, suggestions, books, podcasts, exercise regimen, fricking B-12 vitamin shots ( ), anything offers of suggestion would help.

Hookers one day then blow the next. Repeat for 15 years. That's how you become a champion of life.

Get a hobby.

Set goals and achieve said goals.

Get a new job
Get a new woman
Get a new hobby

It doesn't really matter which but do something. You can't tiptoe through life just to arrive safely at death.

I’ve been there.

You need a fresh porn fetish to delve into.

Guessing you are single which can get lonely but you do have more freedom to try new things

Get a hobby or try something new that interests you
Eat healthier
Force yourself to walk or jog daily, even if it’s around the block
Look at other job options or online / night classes that will help with a career change

Congratulations on being an adult. It's gonna keep sucking for awhile, but one day you'll die so you've got that to look forward to.

Another surefire fix is to get someone pregnant.

That livens things up.

First off, get a bike. I started with a mountain bike then transitioned to road/gravel stuff. Better on your knees and you'll actually enjoy knocking out 10-20 miles instead of jogging along the same block for 2. biking is a pretty social hobby these days and will keep you thinner.

Get an airlines card for points. Rack em up as much as you can and pay that shite off. Go to destination cities to see concerts, friends that moved, or to drink/eat.

Don't wait to be invited to do cool shite after hours, make the plans yourself. this also gets you laid, which we know this post is actually about.

also, keep in touch with family better.

Sounds like you're depressed baw.

I feel the same way sometimes. It's like groundhog day. Same routine - wake up, shower, drive to work, log in, coffee, answer emails, lunch, projects, meetings, fight traffic to get home around 5:30, either hit the gym or veg out and watch TV, eat dinner, bed. Rinse & repeat.

I used to get out and do stuff more during the week, such as 5K's in the park or trivia at random bars. Need to get back to doing that.

Try to be spontaneous and mix things up. Meet up with friends after work for dinner once or twice a month, use your vacation time and go to new places, live dang it!
