re: Female Illinois Middle School Teacher gets busy with student.

She looks like some cartoon character but I can't put my finger on who.

I remember years ago (circa late 90's early 00's) having a conversation with a friend about a news story similar to this only a male teacher.

Her comment was along the lines of only women should be allowed to teach children. Her logic was that males are more prone to sexual misconduct because of their hormones blah blah.

I simple said you know, I'd be willing to bet that maybe not as many cases but much more than people would realize of female teachers doing the same thing.

She laughs and says Oh really? why aren't the being arrested then. To which I said, well it's probably similar to the reasons you said males shouldn’t be teaching. Males, especially young males entering puberty are hyper sexual and i believe they are very much less likely to report any of it and think it's awesome.

She laughs again and then realized I was serious and kind of started flipping out a little like I can’t believe you actually said that much less believe it.

I think about that now every time I read one of these stories and wonder what she's thinking about the situations.

She's probably living in Portland somewhere, I would imagine, looking back on things.
