Definitely whige gold. It's rare, but ask your jeweler if they have some. I get compliments on my whige gold ring all the time.

Make it easy on yourself.....just get whatever she wants you to get. You'll be doing this the rest if your married life anyway.

See if there's a Niessing, German company, dealer around you, they sell some cool alloys. I got grey gold, 18k, with a fiberglass finish. 13 years and basically polished out, but the color is still nice. You can both the inside and outside shapes.

I'm afraid if I give in to this it'll open up Pandora's box for her in future decisions. Think I'm going to stand my ground

I have a plain Ritani cobalt ring. It was $125. Looks Silver-ish/chrome-ish to average man-eye. Cheap and stylish without trying too hard (diamonds/pattern).

Polished stainless steel, $59. My first was gold, hated it. Get a bunch of comments about my stainless steel ring, people love it. I could give 2 shits and neither does wife. @ $59 if I lose it in Caminada Pass, no sweat!

Mine is about $20 and gold plated off amazon

Went cheap, because I don't care enough and spent plenty on the engagement ring

Whatever you go with get the comfort fit. They kind of round off the inside edges.

Just get traditional gold. You won't look like a douchebag if you're 50 and wearing it.

Everything else will be remembered as fondly as Limp Bizkit and T-tops.

Simple gold band. Her ring is gold so it will match. I'm not a fan of the silver or platinum rings guys are going with these days
