Came here to mention this.

Anytime she starts to argue with you, simply tell her you have the one ring to rule them all.

titanium rings

PSA: Can't cut Titanium rings off with ring cutters. Case reports of guys having losing fingers when ring is stuck.

How do they get stuck? when you guys get married and sit on the sofa and become fat asses

Lol. That's why I'm passing on Titanium. Want to keep my finger in case of a bad break or accident.

I thought titanium could be cut off but tungsten could not.

See a picture of a finger degloved by a ring and you won't care if metal rings are classy anymore

My husband has 2. He originally just got a $50 tungsten one that he could easily replace if he lost it.

Then a month or two before the wedding his mom gave him his deceased grandfather's gold wedding band. He got married with that one and wears it only when getting dressed up(sentimental factor of that ring means he doesn't want to risk losing it by wearing it daily).

That's my only concern with getting gold. I work around machinery and is sometimes hands on and don't want to damage a softer metal ring with gold.

Then get a Qalo ring for work (silicone ring) and the gold one for not at work.

I just don't even wear my ring when I'm working out or hiking or other exercise. I've considered getting a Qalo though for that.

Working out....don't want to mess up my ring and accidentally knock out a small diamond in the setting (mine has like 30 tiny diamonds in the band). Hiking.....my fingers always swell up when I go hiking so wearing a ring gets painful.

It's pretty damn hard to lose a ring that's on your finger. Does he have to remove it for work or something?

He removes it when he goes mountain biking. He doesn't want to have the ring catch on anything if he crashes his bike and possibly take off his finger in the process.

Also takes it off when he goes to the gym.

Nothing wrong with that.....I don't wear my wedding set 24/7. Don't wear it when I sleep, clean, shower, or work out.

I have a platinum band.

I let my wife pick it out because I don't care about jewelry. Her rings are platinum so she wanted mine to be platinum too.
