During Andrew, our Oak fell on the neighbor's carport. My dad had wanted to cut the tree down and the neighbor's wanted a garage. Everyone got what they wanted.

I had 11 trees within striking distance of our house removed a year ago. Glad I did. No worries about being home in high winds these days.

I love trees. Natural beauty, nice shade, blocks views of neighbors, etc. nice for wildlife, etc. But, they do fall.

I have a dead oak about 15 yards from the house & in line with my 16 year old's room
