What a shitehole of a city. 45 minutes to go 10 fricking miles. Have fun wasting two hours of your life every day sitting in traffic thanks to idiot drivers

Are you really melting about the 5pm Friday traffic of a major metropolitan city?

I think you are feeling sorry for Kennah brah residents. Nola residents don't have to take the interstate home.

I live uptown right by Audubon, unless there is a delay in the Huey P, traffic is a breeze

Is New Orleans the only "big" city you've ever been to? Have you ever left the state?

That's the one part of town that I'd say takes the longest to get to, just because the main thoroughfares leading to that area are all 25-30 mph and mostly single lane roads (or there is construction blocking one of the lanes, e.g. St. Charles) - of course, there is Claiborne, but you still have to traverse river-bound traffic to get to Audubon from there.

That said, I love that area and would love to live there.

Traffic isn't even that bad in New Orleans compared to most cities. This is a weird thing to bitch about.

I guess OP should just stay out of ALL cities.

I just hate the frickers that wait til solid white line to try to get off the exit basically stopping traffic in a free flowing lane. You knew you had to get off there. Just get in line.

I work out in Luling so i have a 20+ mile commute and make it home in the evenings between 35-40 mins.

When I went to LSU and lived off Jefferson near Bocage, it would take me that long or longer to get 6.5 miles.
