Maybe this deserves a totally new thread, but why is the term "single mom" always used to denote victim status? Most of the single moms I know are to blame for their single status. Either they chose to be single, did something to blow up their marriage or are just insufferable in general. I know one single mother whose husband died in an accident. All others own some or all responsibility for being single.
