Getting that convergence on, showing some lift at least. The 850 mb cold is behind the front right now but I saw some brighter returns popping up on radar, suggesting it's starting to work it's way in. It'll eventually catch the precip line. Midnightish change over for the backside?

I don't think I'm in the frontal line at the moment... it looks like a little cell formed in front of the line and that's what's over me at the moment

Getting thunderstorms nearby suggests you're in a good spot to squeeze the most out of it. My point about the cold is for later.

I was just saying it b/c I was watching TV and not really paying attention to the radar

now that I got the lightning & thunder it kinda drew me back in to weather watching

Front just passed through Houston. Had a quick thunderstorm. Now it's cooled off to a frigid 55. Winter is back baws.
