My son is getting g married in January. When he told us he was going to propose one of the next things out of my mouth was “I’m not wearing a mask”.
And that policy is just crazy.

About 150 people were exposed to COVID-19 at a recent wedding, and any who are not vaccinated should quarantine themselves through Saturday, the Louisiana Department of Health said Tuesday.
Everyone who attended the wedding in Abbeville on Sept. 25, including those who don’t show any symptoms and those who are fully vaccinated, should be tested for the disease, the department said.
The department said it has confirmed an outbreak related to the event at L’Eglise, a wedding venue in a restored church.
“Several people that attended the wedding subsequently developed symptoms and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19,” it said.
Unvaccinated people should watch for symptoms of COVID-19 while in quarantine, the department said. Those include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congested or runny nose, nausea or vomiting and diarrhea.

The department lists test sites on its website.
As if all those people are going to quarantine
What about the ones who already had Covid?

Well, since the vaccination has proven NOT to stop the spread of Covid, this is pretty stupid indeed.
I guess we’re just going to keep on pretending that the vaccine is actually stopping Covid.

These shouldn’t be news stories.

Why is this in the newspaper? Who from the wedding went to the news to tattle on themselves?
My brother got married full blown with 200 attendees in February. People have been having normal weddings all year. This isn't newsworthy.

Ive been to a couple weddings where hundreds of people were exposed
Nobody quarantined
Quarantine with asymptomatic healthy people is not taught in any infectious disease textbook

frick those assholes. They’ve already done their job of scaring half the populace to the point of not wanting to leave their homes. Now they are just quadrupling down.

Scared half the population enough they injected themselves with an unknown experimental chemical

I’ve been to a wedding at Eglise and while it may have an abbeville address it isn’t in Abbeville. It’s in a small community called LeBlanc about 10 miles from Abbeville.

Lol I know who it is .. I don’t have the nerve to text her.

I thought Leblanc was by Kinder which is way more than 10 miles from Abbeville

No it’s not news! But it’s an attempt to spread fear.

So how does this even get to the LDH? I’ve never even had to test for covid so I have no clue of any process.

When I(raised by Baptists) got engaged to my catholic girlfriend the first thing my dad said was “I’m not going to sit in that Catholic Church even for my sons wedding”.
You sound like my dad, whom I haven’t talked to in ten years because of his bullshite.
