Like most 80's kids I had an arsenal of toy guns but this was one of the coolest. Looking back its crazy how realistic toy guns were back in the 80's. It was a fully automatic cap gun that smoked out the screw on silencer. Def got some unusual looks from the neighbors

I had a “rich” friend that had one. Whenever he’d have a sleepover all us po mofos wanted to play with that and all he wanted to do was play Atari.

After coming out with Hot Wheels track sets (which used gravity) Mattel then came out with Sizzlers, cars which used battery power to make them go. They then combined/ transformed the two to create a futuristic train set, the Hot Line.

Although it boringly just went around the track, there was something REALLY cool about the early 70s futuristic design of the train components. All component cars also had cool Hot Wheels-type names as well-- the engine was the "Speed Chief", boxcar was the "Freight Crate", passenger car was the "Folks Wagon" and the caboose was the "Tail Waggin'", etc.
