Drive down I-68 through the western part of Maryland into West Virginia and it'll change your mind.

I've been to all 50 now, and it will always be Montana.

Idaho and Wymoning are close behind.

Burlington is a great town.

On a side note, and maybe it's b/c it is home, but Western Pennsylvania doesn't get enough love. It is absolutely beautiful and I miss it dearly. In the summer all of the hills and valleys look like Ireland. I'll be there next month.

Vermont. Other than the liberals there it’s gorgeous. Lake Champlain and Burlington are beautiful.

This. The beerfest there every year is straight up awesome.

Vermont is the best state I’ve ever been to. Maine in the summer is a close second, but I give the win to Vermont because it doesn’t matter what season you are there. It’s always great.

1. South Dakota, hands down. Especially the western part of the state. It's gorgeous.

2. Coast of New Hampshire.

I have been to 48 states, HI and AK to go. Lot of areas of OR I really like, been there many times. Winter wine tour in N CA is a lot fun, during king crab season to boot. Went to RI on business one time, it was cool, but would never live there. I like CO, been there a lot, but too many out of staters have moved there. Really like MT, been there 4x, would probably have to live up near Whitefish if I lived there. I like Santa Fe, lot of beauty north to CO. Sure as hell don't miss the humidity in the deep South. I don't know if I have a favorite. Maybe ask what's your least favorite state....

Utah- very clean and naturally stunning anytime of year
South Florida - love the Cuban influence and the keys are awesome
East Tennessee - another place that’s awesome anytime of year with 4 true seasons.

Ive never been to coastal Rhode Island, the cape or coastal Maine but it’s on my list.

Outside of Baltimore and the DC sprawl, Maryland is a very pretty state with every thing from mountains to marshland that looks much like the Louisiana marshes.

I've seen a lot of Maryland and it is very pretty, but I'm going to say Montana. South Dakota isn't too bad either.
