Favorite state you've been to?

Got to thinking about the places I've visited and enjoyed last night. Including the states I've lived in (Louisiana and Kansas) I've been to 24 states. Not quite as well traveled as a lot here im sure but enough to know what I like.
Oregon (outside of Portland) was fricking amazing. Beautiful scenery and quiet once you leave the city. I would live in the remote parts in a heartbeat if given the opportunity.
Honorable mention: Massachusetts. I really only spent time at the cape but I loved that area. Beautiful scenery and some of the kindest people I've been around (surprised me given what I usually here about New Englanders). Only big knock I'd give it is how massively liberal it is.

Colorado during the summertime. Skiing is fun, but it's absolutely beautiful when it's not snowy.

Michigan is massively underrated. Detroit and Flint are shitholes, but the west coast, Northern Michigan, and the Upper Peninsula are beautiful parts of the country.

Massachusetts. Boston is a great walking city, has all 4 major sports, great food, nightlife and close to great getaway spots if you need a break from the city.

I really want to go to the UP one day. I've heard alot of good things. Only part of Michigan I've been to is Detroit so thats sadly all I have to go off of.

Colorado. Some days I wish I could leave here and be a ski bum

My kid just turned 5 and has been to 25 states!
I think Massachusetts for me or Arizona.

My answer is southern/coastal New Hampshire...which is about an hour away from Boston.

Wyoming was pretty awesome.
California from a natural beauty perspective is unrivaled to me though. It’s just…California.

One of the best trips I’ve been on was to Oregon. Portland for a few days, wineries, then the coast.

I haven't been to Hawaii yet so I'm going with Utah for the scenery, national parks and driving trails.
