I have a good friend that is a doctor in Honduras.

I know where the money goes and that it is used for the right purpose.

Healing Hands Global

Across the street from them is a school that I sponsor a child at as well. IER are both great organizations that are doing the right things for the right reasons.

St. Jude - YES

Wounded Warrior - frick NO!!!

They are anti-gun. They also fired the two top dogs of the organization in 2016 for spending lavish amounts of money on parties, travel, and hotels.

If we give them everything free like medical care, it will make the natives lazy

St Jude is one we donate to quite a bit. One of our preachers recently started this non profit to help those in prison that have been wrongly convicted. He was wrongfully convicted for murder and served 25 yrs in prison before being released. An amazing story.

Thanks for the responses. I’ve pretty much narrowed it down between St. Jude and Fischer house. I had never heard of the latter. Pretty interesting and want to do some more research on it.

Excellent choice. My 11 year old cousin died of brain cancer about 15 years ago. The last few years of his life were spent in and out of St. Jude. He was the biggest LSU Tiger fan there was. He bled Purple and Gold. His Make a Wish was to meet the team and Saban granted it.

Our family will be forever in debt to the fine people at St. Jude.

St. Jude's is number one in my opinion...helps kids regardless of family income, race, religion, etc. They really make a difference. And I feel better knowing my money isn't being used to buy lavish gifts for staff and flowers for secretaries and such.

Please do it. Been an active donor for some time now. Ask any family with a child that has been part of the program and let them tell you what it has done for them.

A disaster relief fund you trust.

A gospel spreading organization you trust.

A halfway house you can see benefits from.

An organization that helps orphan children that you admire.

I just wish I could donate and not get pestered by that charity for the rest of time. Every now and then if we have something extra I like to send money to different charities and I swear they’ve spent as much as I donated or more on mail back to me.
