I think WeRateDogs has been involved with the organizations leading this rescue. It is a huge undertaking with a bunch of people and rescues involved.
I've been pleasantly surprised with how much WeRateDogs have done for all kinds of dogs in need. That channel started as kind of a warm hearted joke account and just blew up. There's no telling the money it is making, but they have pumped a load of it into charitable work.

Our beagle just turned 8 and has been the absolute best family dog. Loyalty and love beyond reproach. I can't wrap my head around the sickness of someone who could hurt these pure souls. Breaks my heart.

Seems like I read that it was about 1000 beagles that came from a facility that bred beagles for lab testing. I think Florida got a lot of them too. There's a video out there that shows a bunch of them running around in a big, grassy enclosure for the first time in their lives.
