I try to kiss my son on the cheek on head but sometimes he goes for the lips. It's not a big deal. To me it says a lot about how close the relationship is. It's creepy to watch but who gives a shite if you love your son.

I don't kiss my son and didn't kiss my dad, but I don't have a problem if someone does this.

My kid is two. I never would have thought I would kiss a kid on the lips but it seems perfectly now that I have one

I used to kiss my sons on the lips when they were younger. Once they turned 5 or so I kiss them on the cheek or forehead. Not that there is anything wrong with kissing them on the lips I just stopped.

I kiss my toddler son goodnight, but have started to transition to the cheek now that he's getting older. Will eventually go full on to a gentlemanly handshake.

To answer OP. It's weird, but that's because my dad looks awkward giving a hug. And my son is now 7. He kisses mom goodnight and started turning his head a couple years ago. I will kiss my son on top of his head or his cheek until I am dead though.

I kiss my Dad on the lips with mouth slightly open and then I bite his bottom lip as we pull away.
Sometimes I kiss him on the ear and neck and nibble his ear lobe.

It's an older generation thing. My Italian grandparents used to do it. The lip kissing died with them.
