This just seems odd to me. I could never imagine doing this with my father, or even my son.

Any OTers who care to admit they are a little too friendly with their fathers?

In case your wondering, this is what made me think of this question:

Nothing wrong with kissing your parents. If you kiss your dad it doesn't make you gay and kissing your mom doesn't make it incest

Nothing wrong showing love for your father.

That man provided the seed for the GOAT.

I've never kissed my father, or any male relative (or any male period ), on the cheek, much less the lips. That's weird to me, but others may be ok with it

ETA: I have pecked my infant son on the lips

i agree there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. outside of your mother or father yea that's a little sketchy but parents no issue. up until my dad died a couple years ago we still did that, same as my mom even today.

That's weird. I don't kiss my infant son on the lips and I damn sure wouldn't kiss a full grown son like that.

That Tom Brady pic is just weird. Seems his emotions after winning SB #5 got the best of him.

This. New Orleans people do way too much kissing.

I don't think I have ever kissed my father, even on the cheek.

No wonder I can't win a big game.

I was in 5th grade in the early 80's and saw a dad kiss his son and it creeped me out. I told some of my friends and all of them said, It's his dad, why is that creepy? This is not a new thing. With my dad, I can count on one hand the number of times he told me he loved me so I guess that's why that was weird to me.

Tom's face indicates he's a little too much into that situation

Never done this with my dad, and I don't do it with my kids

I'm not going to tell another person that they should or shouldn't because to "each his own", but it's just not something I find fits into how we raise our 2 sons.
