I think the Plank road location is the only one in Baton Rouge. There used to be one on Siegen but it closed years ago. There's been a few times I've had the envies for some Krispy Kreme but then I realized I'd have to go to Plank road and I'd think nah...not worth it.

I mean, as a kid, we used to go to that Krispy Kreme, 60 years ago. Eight years ago started this tradition? Sucks they had to go thru that, but the dad should have known he was taking chances. Crazy.

I've been eating Subway on the regular for 25 years with my parents as a child and now with my children. Doesn't make it a tradition though.

You’re getting downvoted but I get what you’re saying. It’s a shitty thing that happened, but they make it sound like they’ve stopped celebrating Thanksgiving. In reality it should say “father to find a new location to take his daughter for donuts after they get shot at in the hood.”

I'd like that Krispy Kreme tradition but there is the sugar diabetes to consider.

Man, the way it was titled I thought this kid was shoot and killed. I was about to say this should be a much bigger story.

But yeah, who wants to be in an area where a bunch of idiots have no value for life?

I work close by and try to avoid Plank Road if I can. I get on 110 as soon as I get a chance but that’s not really a whole lot better these days. I live on the north side of Central now but when I lived off of Planchet, I went through that part of town and it wasn’t ideal even back then

Nah, in Fayetteville it goes down at McDonald’s. Big difference.

WTF were those honkeys doing at a Plank Road Krispy Kreme?

Tony’s seafood across the street from there is the only place in that area that white people are safe. And that’s because there are multiple cops there at all times, inside and out. The rest of that area should be bulldozed.

MO DONUT FO ME! I wish I knew how to photoshop, I'd put his face on Godzilla and then but that on a picture from Plank rd... And he would be holding a box of donuts.

I think we are less than a decade from mass vigilantism in this country.

This stuff is happening in the middle of the day on a Monday. This is not going to get better. They are getting bolder and braver.

Imagine the white fragility required to object to having your daughter shot at the donut shop. All you honkies are so soft.
