An amazing photo taken by an Australian man while flying on an airplane inadvertently spawned a small controversy when angry conspiracy theorists claimed that it was evidence of chemtrails!

From there, things escalated rather quickly as several users insisted that the cool collection of clouds was a sinister indication of geoengineering at work.

Advocates of the controversial chemtrail conspiracy cried out against the image, taking the airline to task for glorifying geoengineering and vowing to never fly with them again.

Fortunately, they don't need to cancel their vacation plans just yet as the odd-looking clouds are actually a real, albeit rare, meterological phenomenon known as a 'Morning Glory.'

Judging by the engine on the wing they are flying across the "chemtrails". That is some creative crop dusting...

The picture doesn't look possible. What "laid" those trails would not be within what, 5 miles of the craft the photog was on? I'm to believe these trails aren't succeptable to simple winds, eg the Atmosphere? How are they still like rows of cotton?

The Morning Glory cloud is a rare meteorological phenomenon consisting of a low-level atmospheric solitary wave and associated cloud, occasionally observed in different locations around the world. The wave often occurs as an amplitude-ordered series of waves forming bands of roll clouds.

The southern part of the Gulf of Carpentaria in Northern Australia is the only known location where it can be predicted and observed on a more or less regular basis due to the configuration of land and sea in the area.

This is direct evidence of Air New Zealand spraying chemtrails on the people of Australia in an effort to further their agenda of total domination of the sheep industry by killing off the human population.

I hope the ppl getting upset about this aren't implying that particular plane laid those trails, since it is flying perpendicular to them
