Apparently this was the only thing his son had to eat in the house. The guy is definitely not a fatty nor a stoner.

The update I’ve heard from my MIL is he is good, coming down and coming back to normal. Not sure how the conversation with the son but my MIL can be a real bitch. She is a retired teacher too and has a talk to the manager haircut so you can only imagine how she reacted.

He ate 1 or 2, then got the munchies and ate the rest.

Hopefully he doesn’t get addicted. My cousin had to go to rehab after his first semester of college.

Edibles can be like a mushroom trip sometimes when you injest 200+ mg.

It depends on the dosage. You can eat a 5mg candy and smoke a blunt and you'll probably be more stoned after the blunt. You start taking higher doses and edibles can be very intense. Different highs though.

How long before you started this thread did this go down? Because 2 hours on 6 edibles is far from the coming down stage. I've had edibles mess me up for 7 or 8 hours if I've over indulged.

The problem with edibles for some people is they can take an hour or two to kick in. So people get impatient after 45 minutes and not feeling anything, so they eat more. Then 45 minutes later it hits them like a hammer.

We used to make weed brownies in college and I absolutely hated when some inexperienced sorority chcik would show up. Without exception she was the one freaking out, crying, having a panic attack because she got impatient.

While I definitely find it funny, if you've never been stoned before I can see how it would freak someone out.

I've always heard the story about the student that dropped a couple of hits of acid in his teachers coffee cup. No idea if that's a true story or not, but that would be freaking terrifying. I don't find that funny at all and I've tripped more times than I can count.

Those are different situations though, THC and LSD are no where near the same experience.

He ate them for lunch so it was a good 6-7 hours later when he was starting to snap out of it. We are waiting on an update from the MIL.

Who leaves edibles laying around for that long? They're usually consumed pretty soon after purchase/making.

Friends FIL did this not to long ago. Ate 9 gummy bears and ended up in the hospital cause he thought he was having a heart attack/stroke or something. He’s a Dr and on the board of a local hospital. Didn’t turn out as funny as this story for my friend. Lost of embarrassment.

I've had a pack of gummy bears for 6 months or so now. With kids, it's hard to find time to get that stoned for so long.

Even if you're a season pro, if you eat top much, you're in for a bad time. It creeps and then bam, you're fricking liquid and feels like you forget how to breathe.

It would be terrifying if you had never done it before and didnt realize what you were eating.

Who the hell are these people claiming this guys Dad, whose was doing him a favor, owes him $30 after eating cookies. One, he was doing a favor for him and two, what is your station in life that you would worry about your Dad owing you $30? Do you know how much money your parents have spent on you through out your life?
