There is the Children's Museum that is a quality time for kids. Mine really enjoy it. Family of 4 costs $64 though.
We bought a yearly pass because it was expensive. Been twice. One more time pays for itself.

Gay isn't new to Lake Chuck. They were either in generational wealth (or married to it) or moved to Houston's Montrose as a young adult.
