why would you take your kid to the ER for such a minor thing instead of an urgent care?

GeneralLee hasn't been back to this thread since he decided he was going to confront the other parents.
What are the chances he found out his knuckles ain't much and he's currently incapacitated?

Probably at ER himself after getting beaned with a water bottle

we took him to the ER but doctor said he probably didn’t need stitches.
Sounds like you and your wife freaked out over something minor. Who the hell goes to the ER if it happens during the day time and all doctors offices are open? So dumb, OP. I wouldn't pay shite to you if there was no damage done.

Why didn't you just take him to his pediatrician? This was clearly during the school day, so the office would be open.
Because a teacher, mom and two nurses, who I assume are all women, wanted to create as much drama as possible.

Yeah I do have health insurance but it’s clear my kid isn’t at fault so principle says his folks should pay the bill. If my kid did something like this I’d pay the bill for the other parents.
You’re a weird dude. Kids get hurt, that’s what happens. Sounds like they were rough housing and he got dinged up.
This isn’t a fricking pitbull attack you weirdo

The better question to ask…
After the other father shoves the metal water bottle up your azz for seeking $ to cover his bad parenting, will we see a post from him asking the same thing.

Get a couple of classmates to whip the kid's arse for $20.
It's preschool man...c'mon
They will do for a shiny quarter and a "fun"pack of MMS

No.
Its fair to accept if they offer
Its fair to offer if the shoe was on the other foot
Unless the incurred cost puts you at a severe position just suck it up and pay it. An ER visit for a few stitches can't be more than a couple hundred bucks.
Your kid will cause damage somewhere along the way unintentionally and throughout life, these things usually balance themselves out

Dude tried suing a kid on his football team who tackled him too hard. That was hilarious.

Why does every kid have to have a water bottle these days? Aren’t water fountains still a thing at school? The hydration craze is out of control. Our society has lost its collective mind

my kid got pushed at preschool, fell and broke his arm. we have good insurance, and never thought once about suing. thats ridiculous. kids will be kids. shite happens. Our out of pocket costs were maybe couple hundred bucks.
