Haven’t seen that commercial yet but the MasterCard commercial about trans folks having their name on their credit card for safety reasons is pretty ridiculous. I was completely unaware that there was an epidemic of merchants threatening, harassing and beating up transgenders over the name on their card. But I guess when your life’s problems are all in your own head you probably believe the guy behind the counter at circle K is going to kick your arse and call you names when you swipe your card for a tank of gas and a pack of smokes.
Also how often does a person actually hand someone their card. Maybe at a fast food joint or at a bar or out to eat but generally you probably swipe your card yourself 99 percent of the time
