I have a friend who’s father came out as gay when my friend was a teenager. My friend is now in his 40s. He said it wasn’t a surprise but really confusing as his dad’s porn stash evolved over the years and went from hardcore heterosexual to really focusing on only male parts

a lot of times in porn, the men have to start out in gay porn and then work their way over to women. it's called paying their dues. i even think peter north had to do this as well. johnny holmes too.

You’re probably right because there is some implication in virtue signaling that the message is disingenuous. In these cases, this is truly what these companies stand for and are trying to will into existence.

In college I had a part time job at a law firm that did appointed work for the probate court administrating estates for people who died without a will. Basically stuff like securing title checks for real property, cars, etc. and inventorying household possessions.
The general rule was that if you found something embarrassing - like Grandma's vibrator, or Uncle Lou's crack pipe - you threw it away and left it off the inventory sheet to save everyone some embarrassment.
But we had a case where a divorced guy with three grown children had an entire room in his apartment filled with thousands of gay porn tapes. I'm talking floor to ceiling. It might have been every gay porn ever made. That was too much inventory to throw away so someone had to have a really awkward conversation with the family. Good news is your father left you some assets...
