Two big announcements in a week.

Like this Million Barrel pipeline from West Texas to Houston

The project is the result of a “significant volume of long-term commitments” and is targeted to start operations in the first half of 2021, Plains All American said.

Third crude unit for Exxon Beaumont
LINK - XOM Official Site

ExxonMobil previously announced plans to build and expand manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Gulf region as part of its Growing the Gulf initiative. Growing the Gulf projects include expansion of Beaumont’s polyethylene capacity by 65 percent, a new unit in Beaumont that increases production of ultra-low sulfur fuels, and a new 1.5 million ton-per-year ethane cracker at the company’s integrated Baytown chemical and refining complex in Texas. ExxonMobil and SABIC have also created a new joint venture to advance development of the Gulf Coast Growth Ventures project, a 1.8 million metric ton ethane cracker currently planned for construction in San Patricio County, Texas.

Keep that money flowing our way

But... but... but... I was told by people that Exxon has to invest in the BR facility and they would never move/invest elsewhere

Pipeline has to be where it is.

On the crude unit, was EBR facility in consideration? Usually these companies pick a single site and then later on make a "final investment decision".

EBR might have been out of the running long before the jackasses with TBR ran their mouths.

The Beaumont site has been under construction for some time. I think it also had to do with the fact that they had plenty of real estate already owned

That money will be used to increase equity in our schools while investing in the future of our children by funding a series of studies directed by a new school board task force of the East Baton Rouge Education Committee. If you'd like to attend the community meeting, you can visit the website to see which church will be hosting. Snacks will be provided.

as much as I despise Together Ba’an Rewge for you guys, neither of these projects have much to do with the BR XOM refinery plant or TBR’s efforts to turn BR into Wakanda from corporate taxes

Most of them would still be D and F rated if we doubled their funding

Hundreds of thousands of Texans are from Louisiana.

Louisiana has a terrible business climate. It’s fair cristicism.
