My theories are usually correct, at least the conclusion is. I admit I might sometimes have the wrong rationale, but in the end, I'll end up being right.

Heat waves and cold snaps do nothing to convince either side. Politics has trumped the science on this issue. If it doesn't fit your tribe's narrative then its "fake." Such is the convenience of modern reasoning.

yoga girl is hurting women by reinforcing negative stereotypes.

The female community must collectively condemn her behavior.

I can see how the stress from Daddy’s check being late can prompt you to share your fear and anxiety on the World Wide Web and I’m just glad to be part of the conversation.

I just want to say this. The Earth's climate has always changed. I don't think anyone can deny the fact that climate change is real.. Because.. Well, take the ice age for example, that was climate change.

And I do believe that fracking causes issues, but it probably doesn't cause them to the degree you likely believe.

But as for as this heat wave.. It's not normal? I remember several years in a row.. I think it was 09,10, 11... I don't remember exactly, but the month of June was identical back to back to back.. It was dry and hot as frick. As in hotter than average. In any given year there can be some unusual weather pattern. I am not going to act like all the pollution that chemical plants, etc, etc puts out doesn't affect us to some degree, but for the most part, it's just weather being weather. Some years you might have a mild winter, some years it's cold as frick.

Some years we might go from summer weather right into winter weather (without really having a Fall), some years we have Fall like weather.

But if you argument is the heat wave in Dallas, what do you say about all the snow South Louisiana received this past winter?

Tell me, why did libs change the terminology from Global Warming to Climate Change? Because the earth was actually cooling for a spell. That didn’t fit their alarmist narrative so it all of the sudden became climate change because you can make an extremist argument no matter what the freaking climate does. Genius in its way- having your cake and eating it too.

So a heat wave in Dallas in the middle of the summer = Global warming?

Get the frick out of here with that shite..

Really? I have an open mind and I study various societal problems. How does that reinforce negative stereotypes? I'm a homeowner, landowner, obey the law, pay taxes, and cause no trouble. I'm a positive not a negative.

They have hijacked the term to automatically mean "man-made". I don't know anyone who "denies climate change". I know a shitload of people who don't believe it's "all our fault"- which it isn't.

Leftists are predisposed to being nosey and telling others how to live- control freaks. The problem for them is everyone else knows they do.

I read in a scientific journal, that if everyone held their breath for one minute every hour, the global CO2 levels would drop by 21.3%

That's maybe the most abused factoid of all. That number refers to the consensus that the earth is now warmer. That's it. It does not and has never referred to the consensus about anthropomorphic climate change.

I kind of agree with this, but I would say that most politicians want to tell everyone else how to live.

I'm really down on party politics now.

I'm sick of the daily barrage on Trump or Hillary Clinton declaring that she is like Churchill.

Um, the last week of July and the first week of August are always hot in Texas unless their is a tropical system dumping rain there. Check back with me again in January when it is below freezing here in NOLA like last year when we saw 19 degrees

No one denies whether climate changes. It’s a question of WHY, and it’s a question of WHAT, if anything, is the remedy. Answer to the last question: not the government.
