Time to go back to work. Let's hope President Trump gets to give us working individuals a payroll tax break! Nancy and her team of dems do not want to give the President this victory.

Why is this getting down voted? God forbid that the people that are actually working through all of this finally catch a break. frick the deadbeats. Their party is over.

Good? My family still has our business shut down and have all lost over $50,000 so far this. There are tons of people who are losing money even with the $540 a week because it’s taxed.

I guarantee you cutting unemployment to LA’s max of $222 a week after taxes is going to affect a lot of your business and income as well. There are a lot of people who don’t have jobs to go back to. Those people won’t be spending money on anything.

Ah yes, another thread full of normal working people ridiculing other normal working people for taking government money yet don't let out even a peep when the government feeds TRILLIONS into businesses for free.

Payroll tax cut? Who the frick do you think that goes to? It's not just the employee.

my prediction is one more stimmy check and unemployment down to $400 extra benefits instead of the current $600

Trump? Didn’t see that one

I don’t think it passes
Think the Republicans will shut it down

would suck being this poor

2k a week to sit on your arse? Yeah, it would really suck to have enough money to live wherever the Hell you would like and not have to do a damn thing for that compensation. Sign me up for some of this poverty.

yes, good. making it more profitable to sit on your arse at home instead of going to work is a bad idea.

Something like 20+ million people filed for unemployment. To categorize them all as deadbeats is mind-numbingly stupid.

Federal unemployment = government literally feeding money to people

Payroll tax cut = government not taking more of our money

You see the difference?

Thanks

How does it affect you again to where you’d consider it “catching a break”?

When I think of the unemployed, I think of my coworkers that are still on paid vacations, while the rest of us have worked through this entire ordeal. A couple of them have even refused to come back and I hope that our employer reported them for refusing work.

The slackers got the paid vacation, while the rest of us were left to do our job and their's.

And the TRILLIONS of dollars funneled directly to businesses and the market, Fed buying up debt? What about that? You cool with all that?

Of course you are...because you've been brainwashed to an extent that they have caused you to vote against your own interests.

I would consider deferring payroll tax deductions for the people that have been working through this entire ordeal "catching a break".

The people that have been sitting on their asses collecting up to 1,200 a week for the last 4 months should have a little nest egg to tie them over during their job search.

Which members of the Fed did we vote for?

You seem confused on what the Fed is

You realize the Fed makes money on this, right? Previous "bailouts" were profitable.

In Louisiana, I believe the max per week per person is $847, so monthly it would be ~$6800 for a couple here on unemployment. Which is quite of bit of money to do nothing

That's fricking outrageous

Yeah. Asking to be fired a week before the gravy train ends would be a brilliant move.
