I know some people legitimately can’t find work... but the truth is that allot, I’d say majority, Milked the frick out of the extra unemployment money.

I think they tried to get a 1 week extension of the PUA last week and Pelosi said no.

I don't know about that. They didn't sign the bill I wouldn't blame anybody but lawyers and lobbyist for the dumbassery of bringing us UBI. I'd just get used to it they are attempting to preserve the economy by handing out money because the US consumer is what drives the global economy.

There would be plenty jobs if the service industry could open back up fully. If you want to work you can work anywhere along the gulf coast.

I'm well aware of that. It's starting to become ridiculous however daily life in Dallas is mostly normal they just can't have these huge bars open. The stunning thing is not a single judge in bumbfrick Texas has ruled against any of this.

I don’t actually have an opinion on this because I haven’t lost any money due to the Rona. But I did chuckle at it especially considering the results of last weeks trashy car thread.

I would contend it’s the other way around. Especially in Louisiana. The oil industry is reeling...unemployment closer to 20% than the 11% national average. That means a lot of Louisiana oil-related jobs are gone with little chance of recovery until 2021. Their families need this added boost to the paltry amount John Bel is doling out.

I think at some point people need to plan for oil in Louisiana going the way of coal.

I'm sure that is the truth in your mind.
I don't think it's the majority but I suspect more milked it than you are wanting to acknowledge. I own a business as do several people in my family and social circle. They have job openings that they have not been able to fill because people are getting upwards of $800 per week per adult in the household. I have been advertising in a few areas and can't find anyone willing to work those areas.
You seem to be flat out denying that it happens on a large scale and to the people saying there are no jobs to be had that is greatly overblown. There are jobs. They may not be ideal but they exist. A restaurant by my house is looking for cooks and maintenance personal. They have been looking for weeks now. Is that ideal for most? No but it's better than starving.

Restaurants are always hiring at every position. That's the nature of low wage jobs.
There are certainly a lot of people sitting at home milking this, but they'd find a way to sit at home and jack off regardless. They just have more money to spend on weed and electronics now.
