If you put 100$ a month into an account In anticipation of issues, you will get the same effect of having a safety net and you keep your money in the process.

I bought one for my Sequoia (vehicle before the F150) and never used it.

Can be worth it They also negotiate the price. Consider what you would pay if the infotainment screen goes out and get 100,000 mile warranty paying that one item.

Then it can be worth it.

Don't Tundras have really good reliability ratings? I wouldn't bother. But like another poster said, people will attach a different price value to peace of mind.

Like any insurance, they’re “worth it” if you have to use them, but not if you don’t. Not being a smartass, it’s just a gamble. With the over engineered vehicles of today, it doesn’t take much to make it worthwhile.

Most people lose money on these warranties. If you get one, make sure to get the best warranty they offer. Look at the list of "covered parts", because they absolutely will not cover anything that isn't on that list. Most don't cover seals and gaskets, which can be costly to replace, so make sure they're covered. Do not forget to mention the warranty every time you bring it to the shop, because they will not cover a repair that is performed before they're notified. Lastly, be aware that none of the extended warranties require services to be performed at a dealership; any reputable independent shop with ASE certified technicians will be able to file a claim on the warranty.

You would need one for a Chevy, Dodge and Ford. But don't waste your money if you're driving a Toyota Tundra. You'll put 250k on it before it gets broke in.
