I downloaded the FB video for the anti-facebook crowd. This video epitomizes what's wrong with people today.
Mom makes kid stand in front of car so she can skip the line at Krispy Kreme

Half of NBR is waiting in line for hours to get donuts. But the media tells us the reason people are dying from Covid in urban areas is b/c of Food Deserts.

Excuses are much easier than personal responsibility.

If the Covid don't get em, the heart attack will.
But it would be a worthy heart attack, if that Hot sign is lit up.

I'd be fricking furious if I were in that silver car waiting to get through.

Food desert is such a false narrative. There is no shortage of grocery stores in NBR.

Maybe folks don’t want to open a big store for the fear of being robbed and/ or shot.

If we just introduce kale and carrots into these underserved communities, they’ll drop their McDonalds and soda at once!

there are not a lack of healthy food options.

They just make shite up now. My parents live in bumbfrick and the closest gas station is 8 miles. The grocery is even further. No one living in the city is 8 fricking miles from a grocery store.

It is funny that Dollar General's business model has become a national catch phrase.

I guarantee staff writer Blake Patterson doesn’t even know what eating “healthy” really means.

None of them are smart enough to pull this off.

Isn't the BR Mayor already setting up a huge fund for food stores in North BR?

If they put a Whole Foods on Winbourne it would be robbed blind and closed in 6 months

And the other half is in line at Checkers for burgers and fries.

If a company believed there was any money to be made, they would've opened a store up there by now selling fresh produce. Cash doesn't see race.

Used to be a produce stand on plank road. Just down the street from the Piggly Wiggly by Plank/Airline

There is also a "Shopper's Value" on Airline and Greenwell Street. And a Sav-A-Lot on plank just passed the Airport
