My theory on this name change is this:
Biden recently banned offshore drilling for 650 million plus acres in and around the US coastline including the Gulf of Mexico.
Rather than fight them in the court system, the name change will allow drilling in these areas because the ban is for drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, not the Gulf of America.
Sometimes, it just common sense. Chess vs. Checkers.
Everyone jumping on this as, not serious, or something that doesn't mean anything, just sit back and be patient. Stop with the knee jerk reactions.
Biden was mentally handicapped and sleeping by 4pm every day for 4 years and no one said a thing.
