Yes. Ford made hundreds of thousands of Jeeps during the war.

My 1945 Ford Jeep - has the original Willis motor but it is definitely Ford production. It is now perfect weather to drive it, but the starter needs work as it would not turn or engage. We took it apart and got it to turn, but for some reason it is not engaging the motor. So, the problem is out of our pay grade and it needs to go to the rebuilder.

I’m not sure why this got a downvote. It’s a valid question to wonder what someone from New Orleans was doing on Gold Beach during D-Day.

Two of the most desirable M1 carbine's were made by IBM and Rockola (jukeboxes). Before retiring from IBM I always wanted to get an IBM model and hang it in my office just to see what HR would say.

Most of the M-1 Carbines were made by Inland Motors (division of GM)

Pontiac built 20mm cannon

Oldsmobile built the 37mm cannon used in the P-39 and later on PT boats

Frigidare built the M-3 .50 cal machine gun which doubled the rate of fire...

Why do you think Mercedes only made rifles? OP was just posting one pic each. Mercedes made more than that. Just off the top of my head I believe they constructed most of the supply vehicles.

No they did not. They didn't even make a roll pin for the M16 rifle.
