She killed herself. She obviously wasn't sane.

Everyone here is perfectly sane and expects everyone else to adhere to their high standards.

I know that and frick them.. But I am sure saying that no one in their right mind could kill their own dog then later kill themselves. The fact that she was an ex-soldier then did what she did makes it easy to assume she was dealing with something. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying what she did was okay because (or if) she suffered from mental illness, I am just saying she was probably not thinking rational, which is something that was not in her control, which caused her to do what she did..

Nice thread title

Can't say someone with PTSD that killed their own service dog then committing suicide is surprising. Pretty damn sad she couldn't get proper help she needed

Excellent. Gay Aaron did one good thing in his life, and that's showing criminals that suicide is best for them

Exactly, but evidently she should automatically be demonized.

You really have to admire OT logic.

Every time there's a mass shooting: "It's not guns, it's mental health !"
Every time someone suffering from a mental illness or PTSD (or both) does something bad: "evil count!"

Based off my reading, the only place she had ever been deployed to was Korea, real terrible combat there. Following that she got a diagnosis of PTSD (?), bi-polar disorder (!), narcissistic personality disorder (!) and a discharge with 80 percent disability (something most vets that serve 20 years honorably don't get). While she shouldn't be demonized a survey of the articles suggest she, her ex-husband, and her boyfriend are all complete frick-ups. The type of Soldiers who give their chain of command nothing but problems and detract from unit readiness. She seems to have had numerous personal problems before the military, probably should not have been allowed to enlist in the first place.
