Just to note, from what little I read, the dog doesn't appear to be her "military" service dog but a normal "service dog". Is that right?

The funny thing about this is that the OT usually supports killing of pit bulls.

Yeah but in this case, she likely wouldn't have killed herself if she used it as an excuse...

This. I agree with Chris.

Your lack of understanding is sad. You also completely ignored the part where I also stated that I know plenty of very smart people that are not religious.

Figured PTSD was going to me mentioned. It seems like the go to for people in the military.

I actually found some more information about this whole incident.

That was interesting.

I gathered from the comments that it isn't entirely uncommon in Korea for a female GI to fabricate rape charges in order to get rotated back stateside.

These two geniuses who killed the dog might have gotten away with their crime if they had just STFU and restrained themselves from recording their crime and posting it on Facebook.

Such worthless idiots.

To suggest that all religious people are willfully ignorant is intellectually dishonest. If you don't believe me you may want to spend time with a Jesuit.

I believe there is a higher being, but not in the traditional way. I do not think life is as simple as good and evil. I think the old testament of the bible is nothing more than parables to teach a lesson, none of it really happened. The new testament I question as well. I am not atheist, because I believe something bigger than use exist, but I don't believe in heaven or hell in the traditional sense either.

I consider myself to be relatively intelligent, but I know people who are more intelligent than I who have strong faith. Most are catholic, but a guy I use to be really good friends with.. Who I would call "intelligent" is a member of a non-denominational church. He is extremely involved and he doesn't associate with anyone outside of the church. It is pretty much a cult. To think that someone's religious beliefs define their level of education is ignorant within itself.

Having strong faith in something doesn't make a person dumb. I don't know what it is about tonight, but the mindset of some of the people on here is mindblowing.

Particularly so for wash-outs trying to bilk the government. Many with legitimate PTSD don't report themselves out of shame or don't recognize they have a problem.

How do these people get their ratings increased? I don't understand how some milk the system.

Actually I'm rated at 40% and still don't understand the whole evaluation and process as well as what gets awarded and doesn't.

I knew a girl who claimed rape in Korea after her boyfriend caught her screwing another guy. Didn't get her rotated back. It got her extended until the trial was over.
