The difference is that millennials took up weed legalization as a CAUSE, and thereafter pretended not to be aware of basic truths like the fact that it’s bad for your lungs and stinks at least as bad as cigarettes. Instead they focused on knighting against straw men like “gateway drug”. Once the legalization cause is achieved, they will go back to being objective about the pros and cons of widespread use.

Again, you are not in tune about all companies. Sure, where “you” are may not, but many do. I was director of product development for a half billion dollar brand and was subject to testing, as was my SVP and anyone on premises. As director at another company in a billion dollar division, I was subject to testing, as was everyone. Wildly different industries, but they still test today. People joke about it on social media, because the testing is done in a mobile unit ie an RV.

These are certainly “real jobs” that encompass e-suite, tech, legal, finance, accounting, engineering, IT…the works.

Now, in my current job and other jobs in “this” industry I’m in today? No drug testing.

I don’t drug test anymore pre employment or randomly. Only after an incident which fortunately has never happened in 17 years of business

I don’t care what my employees do in their free time

I'm almost completely convinced that any black male between the ages of 16 and 45 who is behind the wheel of a car is some level of stoned.

You’re an idiot. As stated before, this was about smell. I smoke daily and do quite well, not OT baller well but better than most. The exact correlation could be looked at with alcohol. Trash is trash wether weed or alcohol.
