I think he may be referring to that price gauging station on Jefferson across from Panera.
ETA: And I would assume 93 Supreme.

cant keep up, when Gas prices were low, folks were upset cause of the economy and Oil Baws were losing truck nuts. Loud Noises!
When oil is low, it’s good for the overall economy of the country as fuel and raw material prices are now lower.
When oil is high, it’s great for exploration and production (Houma, Lafayette, Grand isle, other upstream reliant areas such as the Permian basin, etc) but is bad for the rest of the economy (including refineries) as fuel and raw materials are more expensive.

Never understood how that guy has avoided the Price Gauging laws in Louisiana. A loophole use to be "full service," but it's just a regular drive-up.
price gauging?
don't go there if you don't want to pay $.80 more than every other store in the city. They aren't the only gas station in town open.
No one is forcing anyone to go there. we have choices. Obviously there are enough people that don't care it's that much more expensive and still buy it.
Don't tell a business owner how he should run his business.

I've always had a gas saver to drive to work until the last couple of years due to gas being so cheap.
Well, have you spotted your mistake?
Seriously what is the fricking logic here? "Derp well gas is cheap so I might as well use more of it."
Sorry you never learned shite about actually being fiscally conservative.

I don't think people realize the long term impact yet.
I mean, it really could be supply chain related.
If the government hadn't gone completely fricking insane with their spending over the last year, I wouldn't be as anxious about it.

What are you talking about, are you an idiot? No i haven't just decided to use more gas because it was cheaper.
I have a full size truck that sucks gas so i made the decision when gas prices were high to purchase a smaller vehicle that would off set the cost of gas while saving miles on my truck. Once gas went down the cost difference wasn't worth maintaining and paying insurance on 2 vehicles. Now that gas is up the savings would offset the cost of another cheap car. It is also about making my truck last longer by not putting 20,000 miles a year just to work and back.
And before you come back with why didn't you get rid of the truck. I'm not some pussy dandy who just has a pretty truck. My family has a farm that we all use our trucks to operate.
As far a being fiscally conservative, every little car i've driven to save gas money, wear and tear on my truck has been sold for what i paid or more. I've basically driven them for free other then $15 a month for insurance.

not quite. I have passed that gas station at least 5 times a week for the last 6 years and have not once ever stopped there, and i don't even pay for gas, my company does, but i still would never stop there.
I have a choice, and i don't get gas there, but no one should tell that gas station owner how much he should sell his gas for.

Are they under some requirement to flood the market for the benefit of our wallets? It’s hard to criticize them for doing what any profitable company tries to do.
Required? No probably not. The rub I have with it is they get a ton of tax incentives and doing the right thing in this scenario isn't minimizing production.

It's working perfectly for the elites. I came to the realization many years ago that the Left is not stupid. Oh many of their followers are, because they believe it, but the movers and shakers are not, this is ALL intentional.

Wasn’t it down there in late 2019 or 2020?
On average, for the US, it looks like retail prices dipped below $2.00 in the first quarter of 2016 and the 2nd quarter of 2020. Other than that, the average has been above $2.00 per gallon at least since 2015.
