I have cousins who grew up talking about how much they hate blacks. One of them got arrested for running away with an underage black girl. Another one is pregnant and I'm pretty sure the dad is the black. One of them calls himself Lil' "First Name" and has it tattooed on himself.

My siblings and I are the favorites, obviously.

my sister is the favorite (for obvious reasons)

my brother is well-liked due to his redemption story

i've always kind of been an outsider and i'm boring as hell (always being "perfect" is boring), and now, as an adult, being standoffish and introverted is seen as being elitist and a complete a-hole

Meh, it is what it is. There are 2 of them and they have been divorced for a LONG time. I love them both and love all of his kids/grandkids so I wouldn't change it for the world.

They are both intelligent and caring women who raised great kids. Trashy would be if we brawled and fought. What we do by gathering together may be odd but it sure is fun.

4 siblings and the only thing that gets us through it is about a case or so of wine. If we had to be sober we would mother frick each other from here to Tuesday.

That is our gifts to each other. Bottles of wine then we open all of them and hate each other the rest of the year.

People think I'm black because I'm cool as frick and love fried chicken. It's only slightly racist

My brother told my other brother that his pre-teen daughter was dressing like a hooker. (which she was).

All hell broke loose and my mom was like "How do you know what a hooker dresses like?" In a tense moment, I bursted out in hysterical laughter.

Usually one of my brother in laws ties one on and pisses either my uptight mother or sisters off. Hilarity ensues and my husband feels superior since he is never the brother in law that does this.

Best Thanksgiving chitshow was when I lived in a small apt building on the Lake Pontchartrain. There were 6 to 8 units in it in total.

The newest people to move in was a couple who moved in a few weeks/months before. They stayed to themsleves a lot which was odd because we had lots of decks and balconies to hang out on and fish and crab, etc.

So everyone is having a quiet Thanksgiving and before we can get to dessert suddenly the new tenants started going at it. It was her family against his. It was a huge yelling brawl with insults (and a few knicknacks being hurled).

All of the neighbors came out and gazed in wonder at the live halftime show. It was indeed epic with all kinds of family laundry being aired. Mothers were insulted, paternity was publicly denied, secrets were laid bare and more. Oh my!

We gathered outside as spectators to this unfolding drama. We all decided to have dessert outside as all of the tenants (except the unhappy couple and fmly) were sharing desserts, mixing drinks and having a good ole time.

It was just funny how we all ended up with our families and guests all together as we bonded over this train wreck that was happening.

It was also hilarious that someone's grandma was hard of hearing but desperately wanted to know what shocking thing was said next so someone would have to loudly repeat it to her "GRANDMA, HE SAID HE SLEPT WITH HER SISTER AND THE SISTER WAS BETTER AND CALLED THEIR MOM A HO".

Laughing emojis can't hide all the pain in that post. You got to get it off your shoulders somehow.
