Sam’s now has the APP that’s specifically tied to your phone and bank account. Obviously, you create the pass code but eliminates members giving every tom, dick, and harry their Sam’s card whenever they need something from Sam’s.

Someone asked to use my membership card while at the gas station too. I refused, but the interaction was non-confrontational. I believe another member agreed to help this person out in the end.

I was filling up at a Valero station. Sunday morning, no one there or on the highway.
Then one appeared in a pickup and parked across the pump from me.
Immediately asked me ( really demanded from me ) that I pump some gas into his pos paying with my cc. Immediately told him no. Then he started. “ ima b walking”. I told him to start walking now. Get your arse away from me. He smelled like a whiskey bottle.
All he did was babble and got his arse away from me. When he got into his truck and started moving he hollered that I was racist and some kind of devil. Y’all can figure it out

When someone approaches me at a gas station, on a sidewalk, etc, as soon as they start to speak I cut them off with NO!..... next word out of their mouth, NO! ... again, NOOO!..... they usually get pissed and walk away by the 2nd or third NO!
