Dillard's Clearance Center @ Cortana - I mean, are the bargains that good to make a trip to Cortana?
I bought four Roundtree & York dress shirts for $35 total. So yes.
And lol at Cortana being some scary place.

I guess everybody forgot about the abomination that is Brightside Bar and Grill.
That place is a disaster

The Weinersnitzel on Highland Road by the North Gates. What a dump.

That may have been true in 1959 when Honda started in the US but is no longer the case.
I agree. There is no way that every Honda vehicle sold in the south goes through G-Town.

I had a giftcard to that on the border before and it was actually really good. Never went back though.

I agree. I went there a year or so ago on either a fri or sat night and my wife and I were literally the only people in the restaurant. It was awkward being the only ones there.

They do a lot of take-outs and they also deliver. The place is usually pretty empty bc most of their business isn't done-in.

Is Don's Seafood on Airline still open? Not only is the location in north Baton Rouge horrible, but the food was pretty much crap.
I'm kind of surprised that the Florida blvd Piccadilly has not only stayed opened, but seems to have remained busy despite the decline of that restaurant chain. I think they get a really big lunch crowd.
My parents used to take us to the big Cortana location sometimes. I remember that they had two lines there, and it was usually packed in those days.
I don't understand the appeal of these places, especially in South Louisiana. I used to work with someone who loved that restaurant, and would go to the New Orleans Red Lobster before they opened one in Baton Rouge.

I don't understand this place. The menu items aren't very good, and they hire the creepiest looking people. JCC is in a nice spot and they have a great building. They could do as well as City Cafe if they'd rethink some things. Maybe George is tired and has already made his money.
The Outback next door to JCC seem like it does decent enough biz, but it is becoming a dump and really needs a facelift.
Albertson's better get off their arse. Winn Dixie has done a great job of updating their stores and is a much more pleasant & nicer place to buy groceries than Albertson's.

They own Ralph and Kacoo's, which I haven't been to in 20 years.

Idk how Joes Crab Shack and Red Lobster stay open. I've never eaten at either but we have great seafood.

Weinersnitzel was the only food I had during hell week. Was given like 3.75 on an empty stomach and ate like a king...a poor destitute king with the shits a couple hours later.

I don't see how those retail stores in Perkins Rowe stay open. Rent has to be pretty high and the traffic on weekdays seems slow in that complex.

Don's on Airline is still open. And so is Drusilla Seafood. Both very meh

The Chinese place on Airline between I-12 and Florida Blvd... Chinese Inn or something like that. I never see anybody there.
Also, I don't understand how a Joe's Crab Shack can stay in business in this state. All the good seafood places and people actually eat at Joe's? WTF

I had a food service class years back at Don's Seafood. That place smelled like rootten pussy on the inside, but it was packed for lunch somehow.
