The odds: The Tigers only have a 3 percent chance to win out, but if they do, there's an 89 percent chance they will reach the playoff.

How the hell is it not 100%?

There's probably a board to post about LSU football.

Is "win out" just the regular season?
Saying that our odds depend on winning the SECCG?
Saying that our odds depend on winning the SECCG?

Holy shite I can't believe made that mistake

If LSU wins out that means they are a 1 loss SEC champ with a win over Georgia (possibly 2 wins) and a win over Bama.
If that doesn’t get us into the playoffs the system needs to be burned to the ground.
Although I still see a scenario that LSU wins out but gets excluded from the playoff in favor of a 1 loss (to LSU) Alabama. It would piss me off like nothing else, but would not surprise me.

Has to be this, so they're saying if we win the rest of the regular season and lose the SECCG, we probably still make the playoff.
Also, wrong board.

Does win out include the SECCG? If so, it’s 100%.
If not, I’m okay with the odds.

A 1 loss SEC champion will NEVER not make the playoffs in the next 15 years. I say 15 years definitively because if the conference starts to decline it usually is a gradual thing before you start lose the perception votes.

Yes, it's pretty much 100%.

If we win out...does winning SEC Championship matter?

That would never happen. I wish LSU fans would stop acting like such victims.

If they win out then it should be a 100% chance. You can be damn sure that a 1 loss Bama would have a 100% chance.

No, it wouldn’t be that high if it were dependent on winning the SEC title game. ESPNs numbers make no sense. Oregon has a .1% chance of making the playoffs

Even if OSU, Clemson and Notre Dame go undefeated, it's hard to see how a 12-1 LSU could be considered behind any other one loss team
